Last Saturday while using my fel full of dirt I heard and felt a clunk. Initially thought a 4wd issue. I checked the 4wd driveshaft which had some wear but not extreme. While I had the 4wd drive shaft disconnected I turned the splined shaft at front differential by hand and noticed both front tires were turning forward at the same time and in the same direction. I then grabbed the left tire turning it forward and the right tires turns at the same time and the same direction. I always thought if you turned the one tire the other tire will turn in the opposite direction when both front tires are off the ground. Noticed some oil leakage on left lower axle where the noise seems to be coming from. Could something be causing the left wheel from disengaging or is more of a problem in front differential? Any help would be appreciated.

That model has a limited slip front differential, so the wheels will turn the same direction under no load. ;)
Sounds like you might have to tear into it if you can not localize the problem.
