M5N-091 roof repair part?

Straw bale fell on my roof and did this to the back unsupported part. Curious if it's a cheap part... just plastic lid or if it's gonna cost a fortune and I should patch it.

Looked it up on Messicks. $1829.20 US. No insurance? They do make plastic welders.

find out WHAT type of 'plastic', after that it's simple to repair
anyone who repairs car bumpers can do it.
