How many hours on it? Is the tractor 4wd? do both ends lock up or just one end? Does the lock up clear soon afterward? What clears it? (wondering about a worn rear pinion)

2300 hrs , letting the clutch out again ,on each change of direction the brake is used ,I have disconnected the bar on the pedal and it seems like the right brake is an issue. Are they a band type or wet disk I have not had them apart.

Looking at the diagram on the right - I've seen on other models where brake cam lever (8) gets rusty and binds up in the hole in the iron brake case (4) . It can get pretty stuck. Try using penetrating oil, let it sit, give it some hammer taps, work it both ways, etc. until it frees up. May take more than one attempt. Everything inside is running in oil - but the hole in the case runs dry. Hope this helps. Dick B

If sticking brake cam lever isn't at fault then my next guess would be weak brake plate pull off springs
