Hubby changed the fuel filter on his M5500 Kubota tractor and now it won't start. It cranks but nothing.

Please advise regarding anything he may need to know. He is an 'older' era mechnically minded guy if that helps ;-)

New to this forum and hubby doesn't do forums, Facebook or anything else except emails. Thank you for the help :)

Did he bleed the line after the filter change?
I took the fuel lime off the injectors and held it in the fuel can and turned it to the run position ( do not put switch to start it) to make the fuel pump run until all the air is out.

Hi Sania, welcome. Probably more information will help and folks will have specific questions. Most likely an air in line problem, but the best bleeding method varies with the model tractor. Do you have the owner's manual or shop manual? That would outline the process maybe even with pictures. If someone doesn't log in with that info for your tractor you may be able to find a free manual online. There are typically good spots to bleed the lines from.

A second common problem is that the battery and the cabling have picked this moment to become inadequate, so cleaning replacing grounds and load testing battery might help. Better to do the simple things first before taking apart injectors!
