M4900 shuttle synchronizers

First post here, have lurked around a lot and found lots of helpful information. Hopefully someone can help me out with this problem. Just had new drive clutch and new pto clutch put in tractor, everything was going good till tractor locked in reverse. Neutral is reverse and reverse is reverse, put tractor in forward and bogs down when letting off clutch. So I split tractor apart find the rear shuttle synchronizer is shot, inside ring is completely disintegrated. Now the fun begins, can’t locate this part anywhere have called several dealers and no one has it part # is 3A211-23700 so if anyone knows where one is and can put there hands on it I would really appreciate it. Sorry for the long post but really don’t know which direction to go. Thanks

Welcome to OTT
Back in about 2010 I had a M4900 that locked in reverse also. The syncro reverser parts were available then. Have you tried Messicks? They show 5-7 business days for wait time for parts.

Yes sir, I have, they checked all across the U.S. They show no parts in inventory anywhere. Told me they showed it was not an obsolete part, but has been on backorder since May 9th. Thought I had found a set in Alba Texas but guy said he has not had them in a couple years, said he gets calls all the time asking for that part..

Well..... Here is where I stand on the synchronizers. Talked with Kubota corporate, said part is not obsolete but is on a back order status. Was told to talk with dealer and that the dealer should be able to get me an eta on delivery, these parts are made in Japan. So had to place an order thru the dealer just to maybe find out a shipping date, was gonna at best take 2 weeks to find out anything. Started looking at salvage yards and have found the complete assembly’s. So in order to get the tractor back together and going again I’m going this route. The front synchronizer set on mine are in really good shape, so at worst case I can swap some parts around and be going again. Just wanted to let anyone else that may be looking for these parts know what you are going to run into.
