Obviously, it is under the engine and at the lowest point of the oil pan. It may even be the kind of engine that has a split oil pan and two drain plugs are under there. One on each side of the driveshaft.

Those two are likely the drain plugs. Does the oil pan appear to be one piece with an open tunnel that a pipe (drive shaft) goes through the area? If so, the drain plugs will be on both sides and the sides will look like a mirror image.
A lot of first timers only take out one plug and can't understand why the engine doesn't take all of the oil specified when it is refilled. It was good that you asked.
