Hello I have a M108s and keep having AC problems. First we had the
compressor go out. We had it changed along with a new drier. It worked good for about 4 to 5 weeks and now is low on freon. We have checked most of the system, so where is the evaporator is it under the seat or in the roof. That is the only part i have not been able to see to look for a leak. Thanks for any input.

Welcome to OTT
I think the the evaporater is located in the top of cab. Have you checked compressor shaft seal & associated fittings or drier connections for leaks?

component location is dependent on year of manufacture. Late models are under the seat pan, early models, overhead. Easiest way to tell (without a WSM) is look where the heat / ac outlets are. If the outlets are in the operators console and in the lower sides of the tractor, components are under the seat pan. If in the headliner, they are above the headliner under the removable roof.

OP don't list the build year so it's up to him to determine.

I checked M108S parts catalog before I replied & only location I could locate AC blower/evaporater is above cab inner roof not under seat. I'm aware the evaporater/blower on my '11 M7040 is under the seat.

You are correct, all M108S have the HVAC mounted in the top of the cab.

Thanks for all the info found the problem the o-ring on the expansion valve was bad and was leaking. Bad part is the roof liner was a pain to get down, half of the bolts hold the top on also and did not want to come out .

If I was servicing AC expansion valve on your tractor I'd raise the cab roof top not lower the cab ceiling
