I just bought my M108 and i have been looking at some 15 foot bush hogs the one i found that i really like is a 1000PTO how hard is it to convert my tractor from 540 to 1000 thanks

I don't think I'm telling you wrong, if what I've read is right this is easy. Buy the 1000rpm shaft from your dealer. The 540rpm shaft has a snap ring that you remove and then take the shaft out. Slide the new 1000 rpm shaft back in and replace the snap ring. I have never done one but that's what I read.

Thanks. thats was what i thought you had to do wouldnt sure i had a older m8030 and it had a staking nut on the back of the shaft thanks alot
