I think "can bus error", check for blown fuses in the fuse box.
Someone who knows more will hopefully be by shortly.

Got the same code today on my LX3310. It was sitting and had to jump it. Ran for 15mins fine. Then restarted and it prompted the regen. Did that and fired it up again later to find the e-21 code. I guess it's a dealer call?

Not sure if it will fix your issue but someone mentioned that there is a software update for the LX3310. Keep us posted.

Definitley will. Left it over night. Trickle charged the batt. It started up fine. Needed a non-parked regen. Code is still up though so will call in to see if it needs the update.

There is a Mandatory Service Bulletin (MSC-2022-001) for some LK3310 units, Serial numbers 10004 to 13716. It must be performed whether a failure has occurred or not.

Issue: Error code P0089 may appear on the display and the engine may not accelerate correctly due to a supply pump learning issue with the engine ECU software. Solution: Reprogram the engine ECU to the latest software available on the software page, relearn the supply pump, and then clear the Meter Panel error.

On page #145 of the Operators Manual is a chart of E codes. “E-21” = CAN communication trouble, contact your dealer.

CANbus troubles... The most unreliable 'bus' I've ever had to deal with in 5 decades of 'putering....'

What you can try is...
1st disconnect battery,go have a coffee...
now... remove/reinstall every CANbus. connector to every CANbus device 3 or 4 times, Examine that all the pins are clean and secure. Some (lightly) dilectric grease should be on them.
check EVERY 'ground wire' that is IS solidly screwed into the steel
check that all CAN wiring is secured but not tight(can't flop around but not 'noose' tight)
check/confirm that all 'computers' are SECURELY bolted to the frame/dash/wherever

after you're pretty sure you've done all this, THEN reconnect battery, cross fingers, turn key....
