loud hydro ?

how loud are hydro's ? tested one sat. and you hear a whinning as you drive it , not crazy loud but loud enough,seems to drive good, has power, bucket, backhoe both work good,will pick ( b20) off ground so strong to me, but noisey or normal ? i'm used to a gear tractor so this is new to me.thanks for any help, want to buy but need advice on this.

I drive gear M8540 HDC and L5740HST, no doubt the HST is louder than gear, but I like it.

Hydro's Whine, just the way they are, same are louder than others.

thanks ran good just didn't expect the noise ,a bit more than I expected.

You can mitigate or exacerbate the whine by how you operate it. Running in too low of gear or RPM will make it nosier while choosing the right gear and RPM will reduce the noise. It takes a while to get the hang of proper operation.
