I can always find something to spend my dough on.
Im thinking now a rock bucket to scoop up firewood and move it to be stacked.
Any advice on where to buy ?
There is a local one on Craigslist, but it's big. I know the owner he wants $1800. But bigger then i want and more money then id want to pay.
My other question is everything I see online for rock buckets says skidsteer.
Will that mount be the same quick connect as kubota.

Yes they are the same mount if you have SSQA, just be mindful of bucket weights.

We might be "separated at birth" . I have the exact same gene/dna/problem.

I am pretty sure the SSQA would connect up, but like @North Idaho Wolfman pointed out, the weight needs to be considered.

Not to derail the thread, but I recently found out that I "need to spend some dough" on a right handed bolt/left hand eject, bolt gun chambered in 6mm BR?????

I'm currently working on the "justification speech" ...........I have only gotten this far though.....

I do have a issue with 'not' buying firearms also. But can you have to many. Money in the bank generally as everything increases in price.
I wish I bought more gold at $1000. A once as today price is $3300..who would ever think. No me.
But I think I found the bucket locally, 275 lbs, as my monster L3800 only lifts 1000.
I have no idea the weight of the factory bucket it comes with.

yeesh $1800 !!!!
option 'B'. Buy a SSQA pallet fork, then build a 4 sided wooden box, secure to forks with say 2 loops of chain. Yo should be able to save 800-1000 doing this.

Below is link to rock bucket brand I own (54" size). They have multiple options for sale and in-stock. With free shipping and no sales tax.

I have an lx2610 and I've not had any issues with the weight of the bucket (54" = 230lb) so 250lb on your machine should not be a problem. I have used mine to pick up fire wood, dig out sumac stumps, wild brush, and general weed/over growth removal. I honestly use my rock bucket more than my standard bucket.

So. I measured my bucket. 66" not 60" as I had thought.
So i went with the 66". Paid cash to get the discount AND they asked for my driver's license to make a copy!!!
I said I see no firearms for sale here. 'Well the office woman insists we get a copy to turn in with the paperwork.'
Odd. I've bought three trailers there and had electric brakes installed on another trailer there. No licence shown. And I told them that. I don't get it.
Anyway will be scooping firewood soon.

Two cords, scooped and stacked. The rock bucket works fantastic. This wood will sit for over two years before being used.
For anyone without a rock bucket that doesn't heat with wood but uses fuel oil , propane, natural gas or coal. I'd still recommend picking one up. You'll like it.
