That looks good. How much modding did you have to do? Will look into one.

Not much. I drilled a couple of holes in a bracket near the ROPS and used some extra parts of the new frame bolted there for the back two poles. Then I removed a couple of bolts on the front of the floorboard and made two cylinders with fender washers welded to their bottoms from more extras and passed the bolt down through them and the floorboard. The frame then fits into those 4 short cylinders and the factory clips hold it in place. No tools needed to remove it and it hangs by the eyebolts I added overhead for the summer. The friend that got one off Craig’s List for $150 used different parts from the mounting kit as his FEL control was different and could not fit the same as mine. The advice I’d have is to be creative- only 4 pole supports need to be added to the tractor and doing it with the assembled frame will suggest about where to make them. Once I got the cab installed I opted to add a linear motor and a car seat motor to run the swing and height of the output chute. I could have retained the origional rod as the cab has a zipper to pass it through. My friend’s fits with his ROPS in place but I have to remove the top section of mine. It depends on what the ROPS shape is.

Appreciate your response. I’ll order one soon. Experience and issues with high winds rocking it?

No the frame is quite rigid and the flaps mostly have magnets in them. The price went up on Husqvarna’s site so look around the google world for a deal. My only issue is the blown snow does get on the plastic windshield but so far it's been manageable. I flick some off by tapping the inside with my glove. The tractor stays in my unheated garage so it doesn’t melt onto the plastic.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Been looking on CL with no luck so far. Do you know if the height after installed is the same height as the ROPS. I have my ROPS resting on the pins about at 40 degrees pointing back so I can get into my garage without hitting the top of the door frame.

I’m not sure but it’s 79” from the floor to the high point on my BX1870. It should go through a 7’ garage door if the door lifts fully.
