All,
I was at the Oakland County Fair in Michigan last month and went into the Local antique tractor clubs tent to look at all the fine tractors, all older, but in great condition. I asked the members there of what they thought about letting a guy in the club that had an orange. After a few snickers and off comments about where the Orange is made, with Oakland being a big Automotive County, they gave me an application.
That got me thinking, why is that so? Are they any local Orange Clubs?

Re: Local Orage Tractor Club

I also received the cold shoulder/snobbery when talking to a couple local tractor clubs about Kubotas. No accounting for taste or intelligence, I guess.

Hi neighbor, no local Kubota clubs that I know of, you better start one!

This the best club as far as I'm concerned. It's international, full of great people. And always something to read every day. Everyone is represented from Joe homeowner, To farmers to dealers, etc.. can't ask for a better pool to take from. :) but then again. That's just IMO.

Count me in the club! I'd do a parade ride on my Kubota.

I can afford it with all the money I saved in purchase and repairs by not buying green or blue. LOL.

Everyone wants to say they are made in Japan. Have you ever heard of Gainsville GA? A lot are made there. More of those green machines are made in India than Kubotas are in other countries.

I guess it equates to the Harley groups of year's past; distaste for the "rice-burners."

I've owned Japanese motorcycles and Harleys. Now own none - sold the Harley this spring.

30 years ago, I was riding a Yamaha Fazer. Went to a local fair, and parked near a group of HD's. A group of young boys hanging nearby gave it a chuckle...to which I asked what they were riding. Which was their bicycles...:D

The Harley boys are much more inclusive nowadays, in my experience. However, my experience with both antique tractor guys as well as antique car guys lean much more toward US vehicles.

Just my opinion....

Another nice orange tractor. Now part of the only other tractor company I would buy from....Agco group.
