Sounds like a good design and requires no additional hydraulics.
Probably something @Paul Allwood would already have made if he had snow.

That’s allot of weight with that frame. That one bar controlling the blade doesn’t look that stout. Bet it bends if you smack something with the blade.

The video makes the stupid statement that it patent pending.
That means absolutely nothing as you have just shown everyone how to do it.
And I agree with it being an incredibly bad design.
It's way too heavy and way to far out front for a BX that it's on.
Even if it was on an L it would still be a bad design.
You couldn't steer with it as so as you hit any snow at all.
Not having any kind of a trip blade is a recipe for some serious broken parts.

Haha....

After reading all the stuff you guys have to do I'm glad I don't have to clear snow. The closest snow to us is about an hour and a half away.

It does look a little light, but it's still a pretty clever idea.

Patent pending means that a patent has been applied for.

Invention is protected if the patent is issued.

China has already made 12 different models of this design before his will ever hit the patent office, if the design is worth anything.
It's not, so they won't bother making it.

If the "invention" is existing art or "obvious" the applicants patent will not be issued.
