Yes, I know the title of the thread sounds provocative. I really don't mean that. It's just what came to mind.

B7610 tractor with a Kubota loader. When I pull back on the lever it does nothing. When I push forward the bucket goes down as I would expect it to. Both the down pressure and the float position work.

The dump and retract work the bucket like I would expect when I move the lever left and right.

I'm not a Kubota guy, so this is a new issue for me. Wondered if any of you could point me towards where to look to find the problem.

I can get pictures if that would help.

What model loader? Does your 3pt lift work?

D2Cat - The hydraulic couplers were all seated correctly.

TheOldHokie - The loader is a Kubota LA352. All hydraulic functions work normally except lifting the loader up.

Just to be clear - the 3pt still works and will lift a heavy implement?
The 3 point works. I do not have anything attached to it at the moment.

I'm wondering if the problem is in the linkage. How do you get this cover off to have a look?

The problem could well be the linkage - I have personally experienced that. In my case it was obvious from the floppy feel in the joystick. The plastic cover is typically held on by a 3-4 hex bolts on the underside of qthe base. The most common failure is the helm joint and/or the joystick pivot pin.
