I have a '22 Kubota L3560 LE with 90 hours on it. I keep it in a garage at a weekend cabin, and as you can tell, it gets little use. Last time up, the joystick doesn't spring back after moving the loader in the up or down direction. I didn't notice if that's true when curling. It's kind of startling, when moving in the down direction because it lifts the front wheels off the ground if you're not quick about pulling it back. I looked for a long time for a similar thread, but couldn't find it. Same on Tractorbynet. I pulled the boot off, moved the joystick, but could hardly tell what's happening mechanically. Can it be lubricated? I didn't want to just randomly spray parts. Thanks in advance.

hopefully I found the correct diagram.....

the joysticks connect to this #090, 070 need to be 'lubed'. The bushings are probably just steel not bronze. There should be more at the actual 'joystick' levers as well. I use a red Rustcheck ( semi thin-thick ) oil product ,every 2-3 months on my BX23S as mine actually rusted, 'froze' then BROKE. Dealer had the $20 part on the shelf ! so I assumed a common problem.

Back in 2011 I had a JD5055 that did the same thing. The cable control was suspect. I was able to set things in motion while disconnecting the cable. Turns out there was something wrong with the valve body.
Replaced under warranty. Never had another problem.

Thank you all for the input, I appreciate it. Thank you for the diagram. You guys are an awesome resource. I love the tractor, but it's my first, so I don't have any mechanical knowledge.

By all means lube up all the linkage

But the issue is more likely rust in the detent section of the valve.
