I'm thinking about getting a rack for my L3000F Would I 5 foot be ok or would a 6 foot be better. I won't one for racking leaves in the fall. Getting to old to rack a big yard like we have

Re: Land scape rack

For your tractor weight and HP, I would go with the 6 footer, even though you are only 2WD.

Don't rake on your lawn. It will scratch up more than leaves.

Re: Land scape rack

You may want to look at a rake with flexible spring tines like a dethatcher has.
A landscape rake will dig up soil unless VERY carefully used.
There is such a thing as a pine needle rake which could work for you, but still a lot of caution would need to be exercised to keep it from digging in.

Good luck. (maybe a sweeper would work?)
