Have been contemplating a quick hitch for a while. My local dealer has a Land Pride in stock. It seems like a solid unit.

Any experience? Have read about some but looking for recommendations.

Save some cash and continue to shop. LP is like the Green machine, $$$$$! Look at Speeco, or what you're local ag store has to offer.

Yeah, unless thats the only way you can get one, shop around.

There isn't alot of difference between them all. I bought a SpeeCo from my dealer and it is identical to the Harbor Freight units.

I have a category 1 Land Pride quick hitch on my B2920 and love it. As far as price, when I bought mine, the price from the dealer was competitive with the cheap ones from the box stores.

If you have a cabela's close, try them, I think it is rebranded Woods, but could be mistaken. Regardless, I purchased one on sale at the Fort Worth store and it has been the best $200 I've spent since buying my MX4800. It is a solid unit, and I've adjusted to fit all of my implements - so far. Be sure to get the bushings and extension for the top link. They forgot to include on mine and I did not know better at the time. I had to go back and pick them up on a second trip to make everything work properly.

With the close outs at Cabela's, you may get a good deal. Maybe order online?

As has been well documented, these are a huge timesaver. I can switch between implements in a few minutes and almost all without leaving the seat. The exception of course is hooking up PTO shaft.

Yes the Cabellas implement is rebranded Woods, they are exiting the land management business but Woods will warranty if needed or parts are needed. They are having nice blow out prices if you need anything.

I have a MX5200 and got the LP quick connect. I have collected a bunch of implements but find precious few of them really make the "quick connect" worth it. Works great on my root-tiller but my bush-hog recommends not using one and all the other implements either do not fit at all or require taking the top hook of the QC to connect to the implement. I know these implements can be cut and welded to fit, but I had envisioned an easier transition between implements.

My advice, pre-measure all your implements and see if it warrants the $.

I bought a quick hitch off off eBay for less than $100. Free shipping. My parents have the Land Pride QH and my cheep one functions just as well.

I am not sure about a Chinese knock off for Cat 2 Implements...

I have the Cat 1 Landpride for my B3200 and it is very well built.

I would recommend trying it out on your implements just to see how it fits first.

My hitch fit most of my implements, but all of them had different top link heights which kinda makes the QH and quick pain in the butt...enough that at times I regretted buying the darn thing. Then I remember why I wanted it and just decided to adjust the stuff I have to fit a standard dimension.

I just finished moving the top link hole on my box blade last night. Tonight the pulverizer gets the fix. The rear blade is in the waiting room.

I will be taking the QH shopping with me when I go after a new implement. It fits or no sale...

I don't have many Cat 2 implements, but the cheapo Chinese one works great on my Cat 1s.
