Just wanted to give people a heads up about an issue with my nearly new Land Pride QH05 quick hitch. I was using the 3 point hitch today and noticed that one of the lower pins of the quick hitch was no longer fastened to the implement. Upon closer inspection I saw that one of the roll pins had backed out of the locking handle, which caused the locking handle to lift off. This in turn allowed the implement pin to slide out. Had to line the handle back up and pound the roll pin back in. Will be keeping a very close watch on those from here on out.

Could you please post some pictures of your QH05 on the tractor? I bought one but it didn't come with the instructions for mounting and adjusting. The salesman said that it didn't come with instructions. Called Landpride, and they gave me the part number and said to tell the dealer that they can do a warranty claim for the instructions being missing. Been 3 weeks now, and still waiting for the dealer to get one from Landpride. I have a sinking feeling that I will never get one from the dealer without buying it myself.

I just bought one. Came with a manual heat-sealed in a bag and super taped to the QH05 itself.
(I had downloaded the .pdf long before purchase.). Saw another one at the store in the same state....book mega taped to the thing with zero chance of its escape. ;-)

If you've got any amount of hours on your tractor, you probably don't need a manual to mount and operate this smallest of quick hitches....I mean, it's a fairly simple intuitive piece of gear.

Download the pdf. In 5 minutes it'll be on your tractor.

Be safe out there !

Upon closer inspection I saw that one of the roll pins had backed out of the locking handle, which caused the locking handle to lift off.

If the roll pin does not stay.. Replace with a bolt and locking nut... ??
