Seeking insight, advice, and experience using LA723 Loader.
Was digging in relatively easy soil with bucket rolled downward just slightly below 'flat' horizontal, just scraping a few inches off the top.
Saw a hump coming as as tractor began to travel up the hump, increased angle of bucket slightly to get a bigger bite and keep the cut roughly level.
About half way through the hump, with bucket maybe a bit over half loaded...
Suddenly...
From the front of the machine (loader area) a pop, like a .22 going off.
So the machine is trying to tell me something.
What?
Initial examination shows nothing obviously amiss, bent, broken, failed. Can't reproduce the sound or anything similar by tugging, bouncing, rolling, pushing (gently, until figured out). Spouse reports something similar happened to her once few months ago but thought nothing of it.
Haven't looked into it in depth--yet. And will report here when I do if anything is evident. Or if not.
Has anyone had this or something similar happen?
Would like to hear other events / knowledge that might assist me focusing 'where' and 'what' to look for.
Doesn't seem to happen with any other loader-mount implement like forks or reverse 3-point frame or manlift.
Yours inviting all ideas, comments, thoughts, experiences, knowledge, insights, and fixes.
