the loader lifts slowly when lever fully down. lever 3/4 down lifts fine. when going down with loader feels like a hard spot then after that loader drops quickly. linkage looks fine.

By 'lever' do you mean the 3ph control lever? If so, you probably need to adjust the feedback linkage so the 3pt doesn't go into relief when fully raised. What tractor is this on?

The "hard spot" is the detent between the power down and gravity down (float) positions That is operating correctly..

What engine RPM are you using? Lowering and lifting speed will increase with higher engine speed.

May I suggedt you read yhe loader operating manual?. It covers these things in some detail.

the hard spot is very noticeable.was much smoother
Your engine wont run at 540 RPM. That is PTO speed which corresponds to about 2200 engine RPM.

The valve is fine. Sounds like your power beyond circuit is blocked. Do you have a backhoe or rear remotes on the tractor? Is the position control lever in a raised position?

Valve rarely goes bad. Possible restriction at the connection fittings.

have a back hoe
It would be helpful if you told us if the hoe is mounted or not 🙄

This loader issue is a common problem with Kubota tractors and frequently caused by a downstream blockage in the hydraulic circuit.

Check your backhoe hydraulic couplers to make sure they are fully seated.

If the backhoe is mounted check ALL of the control levers to make sure they are centered. The outrigger control levers in particular have been a problem.

Make sure the position control lever is in the full down position and keep it there whenever the backhoe is mounted.
