I recently purchased a low-hour BX1880 that came with a LA344. Two previous owners; guy I got it from only had it for a few months as it was way too small for his needs. The original owner replaced the FEL side single-point-connector (SPC) with the individual connectors as a preventative measure. Well, after the individual connectors were installed it had formed a leak. The guy I bought it from said it has slowly leaked the entire time he had it (last few months) and he always just topped off the fluid. Well this doesn't play well with me. I reinstalled the loader side SPC and saw that it was still leaking. On the tractor side SPC I used a tool to push down the center of and I saw a single orange seal. I pulled the seals out using a cheapo HFT pick tool and noticed they were all clean and unremarkable. I cleaned it up and reinstalled all four seals. Voila! No more leaks. It is difficult to find out where I can purchase replacement seals. It appears that the John Deere SPC use "MultiFaster" SK-MF-38 / AXE61023 (3/8") seals (Italian). They look very similar and are about $10 each. Has anyone replaced these seals before and if so, do you have a part number? The seals have square corners and the bottom of the seal has a small trough (probably to allow for compression). The photo I posted is showing the bottom of the seal facing up.

Parker made those for Kubota, they copied the Faster design but the plates where to thin and flexed-they had lots of issues with them. Just some background...

But, I do not know of the Faster seals will fit, I suspect not though. We are out of the 1/4" now so I can't measure those for you, but we do have the 3/8 ones in stock. They are solid, with no 'lip' like I see in your picture.

I wish I would have taken photos but the OD of the Kubota seals seemed to be closer to 1/2". Considering the issues that seem to affect people im surprised they havent offered to sell the seals or even improve the design. Clearly, the SPC conversion kit that only changes out the loader-side SPC to individual connections does not fix the issue of a leaky seal. The best repair seems to be to replace both sides with quality, fail-safe, connectors that have low cost and available parts like the traditional Pioneer fittings.

I thought the conversion was to replace both sides with standard couplers. Lot of folks like the flat face type.
