hey guys

I have an L5740, it has roughly 1550 hours on it.
the other day, I was using the tractor turned it off and tried to restart it. The lights on the instrument panel would flash and there would be a clicking when turning the key all the way to start the engine.

Today I replaced the battery with a brand new one, the engine fired right up. 15 minutes later I had the same issue as the day before with the lights flashing on the dash but no start.

then I fiddle around making sure all the connections are tight and the tractor starts up again.

I used it for a few hours and shut it off, I tried to restart it but the same thing happened as before

Can anyone point me in the direction I need to look at?

Pull both the battery cables off and check both ends, look for corrosion.
The ground connection is the most common issue.

thanks guys for help, the bolt that the ground cable mounts to was loose.
I wire brushed the terminals, bolts and metal where the bolt threads into

All is good now
