Hey guys I was plowing my lane way last night and all of the sudden i lost hydraulics to the front loader and the power steering? I checked the fluid and it is just touching on the dipstick can this cause the problem. It was late and I really had a hard time seeing due to a blizzard.. But I see no leaking fluid just wondering if low fluid could cause this?
Or do I have a pump problem. I am stopping tonight on the way home to get
51 L and do a complete oil change will post the results later..
Tractor only has 1300 hours hope it is not a pump problem. I still have power to swing the backhoe but understand this comes from a third pump. Can the pick ups for the fluid be at different heights

Same thing happened on mine this summer , There is a splined coupling that runs off your front crankshaft they strip splines which drives your dual pump the coupling is about 65 dollars

Put some white lithium grease on the splines when you reinstall. Oughta help with the wear though it sounds more like the coupling isn't up to the loads it handles.
