My L48 will turn over great but will not start. doesn't try to "pop". It has been taking longer to start since the 1st of the year, and finally went until the battery was out. When it started earlier this week and the times previous, it may take 2 to 4 times to catch, and then ran fine till it was put away. Also the glow plug light in the dash has been staying on as soon as you turn the key to on and then stays on. Been doing this for a couple of years. Have not replace any fuel filters for quite some time. Thnx Tim

Investigate the solenoid that allows the tractor to run (or turns off the fuel). Should be near the injection pump. Look at the fuses that might be burned out.

Thnx Russell, I put a pretty good remote jump starter on it, and it started in a snap. I felt it was turning over good enough, but evidently not. Looks like I will be getting a new battery. Thnx
