Kubota L4610 with Glide shit transmission. about 1300hrs. Using the tractor on the side of several hills. I've noticed several times when i have a bush hog or disk attached in the back and the bucket on the front, when i go to turn with the rear lift all the way up, the steering gets tight for a few seconds. Problem goes away if i lower the the rear lift down some. I change the fluids around 1000 hrs. no leaks, Seems to be full. Any ideas on what is causing this?

possible suction side leakage-it may not show sign of any fluid leakage but if it sucks air, they'll do exactly what you describe

Without anything on the three- point hitch, raise the arms to full up. Try to lift the arms by hand, they should lift another 1 inch or so. If they are tight, you need to adjust the feed-back link and get the inch free-play.
With the arms fully up and no free play, you are continually blowing the system relief valve.

Check the suction hose on the hydraulic pump, see if it has any cracks, splits or holes. It is a very common place to suck air, especially as the hose gets older/weathered.
