L4330 pulley

I have a L4330 and last night the top pulley on the engine started to squeal a little. What is this pulley used for?

That is the water pump that's squealing, Its seized a bearing.
DO NOT keep running it as it can and will do damage to the motor.
Get a new water pump and gasket.
