Purchased a L3901 in August.
Considered a New Holland, Mahindra and John Deere, all good machines.

Would just like to thank this website and all members for their data before my purchase.

*for info, as this is a tier four engine, first emission burn occurred at 23 hours, read the lights and I had to increase RPM's for the burn to begin and the burn lasted 19 minutes.

BP,

Congrats! Keep us tuned on how your experience is with this model as many, like you were are lurkers, on the fence, trying to decide. Your first-hand information would be very valuable to all.

Welcome.

I purchased the same model this year and have enjoyed working it on my deer farm. Some observations are: the rears are loaded but wish it had more weight in the rear as I have lifted a rear side from time to time with a heavy FEL load or angle, lifting larger trees with my grapple - i would like to have more lifting power on the front end, all around for the size its a very capable duty tractor. The Grand L would be nice for the extra weight but its a very nice unit.
