Thx Dan.
Also...my parking break does not work 100% on hill. Easy to fix or I need to go to the dealer?? Thx
I have similar experience with the parking brake and use the loader/chocks as backup and/or park cross hill. I really dont trust a prake brake alone to hold the tractor on any substantial slope.

The parking brake is just a pedal latch and I assume you adjust pedal free play to make it tighter. WSM is your friend.

....
Press the brakes harder before latching the brake on.

I apply the brake latch with my foot (vs. bending over and using my hand). You can push the brake lever a little and as you apply the brakes, you can feel the clicks. Applying more pressure then set the brake - using your foot to engage helps (IMHO).

As for the engine cutting off, most likely you leaned over in a way so the safety switch did not think you were in the seat, so it cut the power.
