L3800 seat upgrade suggestions

It’s time to drop some coin on a good seat. Our roads at the camp are no where near smooth and it’s starting to catch up with me. I’d prefer something I could just swap out but not opposed to some minor modifications to make it fit. TIA.

I upgraded my L3800 seat to a L3901 seat back in 2015. The factory seat felt like I was sliding forward all the time, the L3901 seat is angled back and has more cushion. Ordered mine from Messicks, I’d hate to know what they cost now.

Just curious, since there was a time that these seats would get stuck at the bottom and not bounce back up... Does your seat move up and down?

Or are you looking for extra comfort?

My seat does move up and down…..too much. I just bounce in the seat when I hit a bump. I would also prefer a taller back.
