Hello new here. I just purchased a 2012 L3800. Just blew a short hydraulic hose for the bucket. Have a few questions. Where is the best place to get the short hose at? I looked over the tractor & not sure where you fill up the hydraulics fluid at. And last, best way to bleed the air out of the system. Also, it does take UDT fluid correct? Sorry for all the questions.

Both Kubota OEM parts, Kubota Operators Manual and Kubota Shop Repair manual for your tractor are available online at Coleman or at Messicks.com. The operators manual shows exactly where the hydraulic fill point is, and yes indeed, the Kubota UDT hydraulic fluid is what you need. Complete service intervals based on hours use is also listed in the manual.

Or you can get it here:

Take the old one to an automotive or industrial place which makes up hoses. Consider the hose condition as to whether or not all of the front hoses need replacing.

Rear center is the fill cap location. Fill to middle of sight glass, located on left side of tractor.

And last, best way to bleed the air out of the system.
Self bleeding. Exercise bucket up, down; raise, lower about three times.

Also, it does take UDT fluid correct?
Whether HST or other, yes SUDT-2. Complete hydraulic fluid change every 400 hours.
