Hi I am new to the forum but it seems to be really helpful
I have a mid 80's L3750 Kubota that has a problem with the
power steering. The tractor seems to steer easily to the right
but is binding when I try to steer left. Sometimes the steering will
free up and turn easily to the left only to bind up again the next
time I try. I raised the front end up off the ground and it steers freely
in both directions. Not sure where to start. Any help is greatly
appreciated!

Check the pivot thing upfront that the tie rods attach to. Mine has a lot of wear/play and acts up some. There is also a grease fitting on it that probably has never been greased.

Thanks for the reply, no luck though. I think it might involve the steering box
seems like quite a job to get into.

I wish I could be more help, but I've never messed with the steering on our L3750. Ours is old and rough, steers hard unless moving. My brother has taking over the L3750 since I got the L3800 almost two years ago.

I think there is a power steering fluid reservoir that is separate from the rest of the hydro system? Might be a place to start lookin.

Thanks, I am going to try running some sea foam transtune through the thing.
sounds like a long shot but I ran into this while poking around and it is worth a shot. I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks again!

Sea foam trick didnt work, big surprise. I thought maybe it would free it up. I ve changed the fluid, the dealer said to use VDT. Still no good. Seems like only working in one direction should be a hint but I dont know enough about it to figure it out. Any other ideas? Thank you!!

Did you find the problem I have same issue; saw somewhere that a center brass bushing or something like that is bad and steering pinion or linkage is sitting on it. Raising front end with loader releases the bind and it steers.
