The parking brake on my L3750 DT doesn't hold. I'll step hard on the brake pedal then crank the parking brake lever up, but as soon as I take my foot off the pedal, the lever slips and the brake comes off.

Has anyone dealt with this issue?

Thanks,

Mike

Have this same issue with my L35. Adjusted brakes so parking brake lever engages different (un-worn) sector on brake petal arm. Works ok now until it wears again!

Without looking at the illustrated parts diagrams, generally there is just a mechanical ratchet assembly, it may be worn or twisted, have a look here for your model and layout and check out the mechanism and springs etc to see what is not working correctly.

Thanks fellas. After seeing your comments and messing with it some more, I think the teeth/gear in the lever itself are just worn out. I'm going to pull it and put a finer point on it.
