L3710 will not turn off with key

fuses check ok . head lights quit. checked wire going to fuel shut off shows a ground. tested fuel shut off it works
some times the flashers work and sometimes not otherwise runes good 2013year any ideas thanks in advance

When my L3300DT started doing that it was the safety switch at the foward/reverse
lever on the column. Easy to find, just needed the contacts cleaned up from corrosion and poor contact.
Not sure that is your issue but easy to check.

You need to check the Timer relay and associated wiring. This relay sends power to the stop solenoid for a few seconds to stop the engine when the key switch is turned to OFF.

I have attached the two relevant pages from the WSM.

This is confusing as some engines power the stop solenoid to permit the engine to run while others power the solenoid for a few seconds to stop the engine. Why the brief time signal? if the timer was not there, the power used by the stop solenoid would drain the battery as all this is happening when the key is in the OFF position
