I have a 2011 L3700SU that will blow white smoke and "knock" occasionally under load. I can't find any water in the oil and the head gasket was replaced last year. This does not happen every time but has become more frequent. This problem is almost exclusively when it is under load. Smoke smells like kerosene. Thinking injectors but that is a fairly expensive maybe. Looking for advice before I drop $900 chasing rabbits.

Those are super common injectors.

I will try those. I appreciate it. Figure I might as well replace all three and call it a day.

How many hours is on your L3700? Mine is a 2010 with 516 hours which it did the same thing today with white smoke and rattle as you described under a load. Everything else checked out good with no apparent reason for doing so. My power has seem to decay a bit lately and was wondering if my injectors needed to me changed. Did you change yours and did it solve your problem? Just curious. Thanks!
