Hi all,
1983 Kubota L355ss. Noticed smoking during cold start after sitting a few days, usually cleared up within 20 seconds.
Noticed the other day when driving in the woods the temperature got to the higher range of 'normal'. Usually it sits in the middle of that range. Did not get into the red danger zone.
Today took it out on the woods, took a break for a few hours then went back out. Check oil and looked like it had a greenish tinge to it, checked the radiator cap and the coolant level was lower than it was previously, and had what looked like slight oil mixed in. Not milkshake or anything but kind of how water looks when it has a little bit of oil mixed in.
Thinking head gasket is starting to go. Curious as to anything else to check and what should get replaced with it besides needed gaskets. Should i replace studs or just re-oil?
Let me know if you think I am on right track, and if you have any advice for this particular machine.
Thanks in advance
- Tyler
