Believe PTO has one.
Thank you. I found a rats nest under the rubber boot for the PTO lever. One post said they had an issue with mice chewing and shorting the wires. We plan on attacking this issue over thee upcoming weekend. Thank you again for your response.

How many safety switches should my TLB have?
Welcome fellow L35 owner! We don't have any shutdown switches. There are 2 start lockouts - shuttle neutral and PTO neutral. Both of mine were disabled when I bought it. I've been planning to reinstall at least the shuttle switch.

No seat safety switch on the L35?
My L48 has a seat safety switch (disabled by previous owner,...and I like it that way).
Don't know if my L48 has a PTO safety switch, but never plan to use the PTO anyway.
My will hoe never be taken off.

No, my L35 is '03-04 and close to the end of the run. I doubt my PTO has ever been used, the cap is still on it and the 3PH arms had been lost.

I just checked back on tractordata. If it's right, L48 production was only 1 year behind the L35, '00-'09 vs '99-'04. I forgot it came before the L45. They made some electrical changes during the run. My turn signals/hazard lights are different from the WSM I bought.

It is interesting how Kubota numbered these TLB's
The L48 (mine is 2006) was last built in '09, but the L47 began production in 2016.
Apparently Kubota skipped 7 years of making a similar size machine, and then chose a lower designator number for the newer L47 model.
Strange!

I am reasonably certain that my PTO has also never been used.
My machine has 258 hours on it now, and I am the second owner.
I do have the complete 3pt hitch assembly ( Now $1,000+), and like the PTO, I will never use it.

I have a 24" Q/A hoe bucket, but recently took a big gulp, and bought a 16" Q/A bucket as well.
Crazy price.....tough to swallow......$1,100 (no tax)!
Now six weeks later though, that bucket price is $1,428 + shipping, at Messick's and Coleman.
Going to modify the 16" bucket to be able to swap from teeth to smooth, and back to smooth.

I am not that smart!
I use this machine maybe 6-8 hours per year.
$1,100 for extra bucket, totally for play?
But...... I am closing in on 82 years old.....so why not?
