Good afternoon, folks. I have a small issue and a question. This old L345 DT i purchased for around the property here had a couple of small issues I'm working thru. It was in pretty good operating condition when I pick it up. One issue it did have is it had a fire apparently after one of the previous owners pressure washed it. It was a good one in that it melted all of the gauges and all of the wires except the last pigtail that went to the headlights. The guy I got it from just connected the starter and that is it. So, my question is, because there is nothing left even on the firewall, has anyone rewired one of these using an aftermarket universal wiring harness like the ones I have used in the past to wire hotrod builds. I would like to add a couple of additional things like brake lights and front and rear facing LED work lights as well as an in dash electric oil pressure gauge. I plan to add a headlight switch and 15 amp toggle switches for the extra lights. I have also added a single wire alternator, although it is not connected as of yet.
Thank You in advance for any suggestions.
Have an awesome New Year.

Yep it's a fairly simple electrically, no reason you couldn't upgrade it.

I see no point in adding a brake light.
Rear flashers and rear tail lights yes.

There is a wiring diagram (in post #27) here (if you don’t have one):

You may be able to get a good used harness from @007kubotaguy by calling his business in California:
