L345.. lifted 3 point up with mower on it , will not go down. left it like that all night normally will bleed down.the levers for the lift move all the way up and down.there is a linkage from the top arm under the seat that appears to be the feedback sensor that connects into the three point area . i dont see were it has moved.

Move the control arm down just a tad and pick up on the back of the mower. Pto shaft could be bound, causing it to hang up. Just be careful and keep out from under it and be prepared for it to drop.
Had a similar issue with my finish mower. Had to move the top link to the lowest setting

Check your 3 point hitch speed control knob - assume you have one under the seat, between your feet/knees. Make sure it is not in the stop position.

Pto shaft not bound, knob under seat makes no difference..Any other suggestions? i see another newer post on a L series that doesnt operate..by looking at this the pump for the power steering also connected to the pto. the power steering does work.is this its only power source for the pto or does it use the drive from the transmission, or is there a pto pump in the transmission ?
