Howdy!

On my newly-purchased L3400 (2006 model) there is an operating lever on the left side of the operator's seat, just outside of the gear shift/range selector, next to the fender. When I was going over the tractor's operation with the seller, I asked what it was used for, and he said that he had never used it, and didn't know what it was for. I figured that I would just check the Operator's Manual. Now I look in the manual, and the lever is not even shown (the manual is dated 2003).

Can any of ya'll help me out?

Thanks!
Tom

If the tractor is a hydrostatic transmission the lever is Kubota's version of cruise control.

Yep, it is the cruise control. I don't use it often, but do occasionally, such as yesterday when I was box blading my road. I would advise you to use it with caution. I caught a root and it threw me into the steering wheel. I slowed it down after that.
