I noticed today that the left front tires rolls but does not engage while in 4wd. All three other tires spinning but not this one. This tractor has the 4wd lever linkage near the left leg that you pull up to for 4wd and push down for 2wd. Any suggestions?

Front diff is what they call an open diff. Is 4wd, but only when traction is equal on all 4 wheels.
If you have a loader,lift front end slightly off ground and shut off tractor.
In 4wd roll one front wheel. Other should go in opposite direction.
Has to be, otherwise tractor would never turn and stuff would break.

Like Tooljunkie said. Sounds to me like it's working normal. Only way all 4 will pull in 4wd is if it had a front diff lock.
