Tractor will not start, while going through the sensor test in mode A on the Intellipanel I notice that when I get to T6 which should display the gst lever sensor voltage I get 0.0v. Are these common to go out?

Two huge differences in those 2 statements.
Common no, but it is a 20+ year old tractor, just about anything can go bad in that time frame.
Do you have the WSM (aka service manual) to know how to test the crank or run circuits?

Will not crank, and yes I have a wsm but diesel and tractor are totally new to me so I’m a little lost. I’m used to LS motors and atvs lol
going to the gst sensor, I do have 5v on the red wire and the voltages varies on the white green when moving the shifter. But does not seem to register or make it to the Intellipanel
I checked battery voltage and it is good. Removed and cleaned battery ground and two others with no change. I did notice while in the Intellipanel mode A it would go T1,T2,T3,T4, skip T5 as expected for being a gst but then go T6 reading 0.0v and skip T7 and go to T8 reading 0.0v. What sensor would T8 be and why would it skip T7

Check the Mode I and see that it is set to "G", not "M".
T8 is probably a factory only Mode.
