First big snow and it won't start. Ran fine a week ago, battery is OK, glow plugs work, but the starter won't engage. I've on occasion had to depress the clutch petal a couple of time to get the starter to work. I'm thinking it's the clutch safety switch. Where is it at, and how do I check it? Also, with the various safety switches, is it possible to jump the starter? Thanks. Bob

hey bob iv been having the same problem with my L3010 i just came back in side heres what i did turn the key on took the red jumper cable hooked it to the positive post on the battery and took the other red end and clamped it to a screwdriver then unhook the small wire on the starter and touch the screwdriver to the starter where the small wire pluged in mine started right up now you can jump any way you want thats just the tools i had in front of me haha
