Does anyone have the part number for the starter on my l3001dt. I’m trying to get one cause mine finally gave up the ghost. I’ve found a few that look close that are a new style but I don’t want to pull the trigger till I have a part number. I do know the one for a l345DT won’t work because it’s 11 tooth and mine is a 9 tooth. Thanks in advance.

Is that the right length on the bendix. Reason I ask is cause that one sticks out a bit further it looks like. Not trying to be picky, just being cautious.You need a starter for a V1501

A local starter - alternator repair shop may be able to repair your original starter or source a satisfactory replacement.
Tried that and they couldn’t get anything for it. Parts are discontinued and they wanted an outrages amount of money for a new one.

I do know the newer starters look different from the older starters but they work, and most way better.
Do you have an amazon account, if you do get this and if it's not right you can return it.
I got one ordered, it looks really close to my old one. If it doesn’t I’ll return it and order the one you provided the link for. Thank you
