Just purchased a used l3000DT. having trouble starting tractor. Is there a fusible link by starter or is it a safety switch. Can start by jumping direct to solenoid.

The tractor itself runs find once started.
where is best place to purchase a service repair manual for this specific tractor.

Where can i buy a used light lens for front lite?

I would check the safety switches i.e. clutch and PTO first before replacing parts!

Might check your battery post and wire connections. Be sure to check the ground cable where it attaches to the tractor frame. It often causes start problems. Remove and clean the cable and the metal it attaches to.
