I bought a set of chains for the kubota and tried to install today and found out there is little or no clearance with the heavy set of chains. The tire dealer said he would reverse the wheels to give me the clearance. Is this a common fix. What wheel weights will fit the kubota and how many would one place on each wheel.

I read on one post about chain or not to chain the fronts. I live on a rather hilly drive. any help would be appreciated. I want to be ready for winter this year cause last winter was a record here in Central idaho.

sorry for not being more specific. The local tire shop solved the problem by flipping the inside dish around and in doing so provided the required clearance to run the chains. Thank you for your response.

Hate to ask a dumb question but what is the dish you are talking about? Reason I ask is that I am wondering if the dealer did that to my B2650 before it was delivered because I seem to have plenty to clearance for chains.

R1's and R4's have different style of rims.
R1's have several ways to adjust the width of the tire track.
the centers of the rimes are removable and adjustable.
R4's typically only have one set, offset, and swapping the rims side to side in some cases will change the offset to help with clearance.
