L2900 engine oil question

So. I'm the owner of a (90's?) L2900. What oil class should I be using? I never had a manual, bought it used, been using typical 15w-40 diesel oil. I also just acquired Zd1211 and the manual says don't use cj4 oil in it, but all the 15w-40 oils seems to meet that class. been using cj4 class oils in the l2900 for 600ish hours. Is that bad?

The current service classification is CK-4 and will be fine in both machines.
