Did you remove the bracket on the left hand side?

Yes that bracket, all bolts and hoses disconnected.
It's loose in the cavity between frame. It just seems like there is not enough room to get it out. It binds on the frame rails and the spindle binds on axle

It's very possible you'll have to remove the battery try and the maybe even the radiator to pull it out the top,.

And on some it requires that you drop the frame to get the unit out, very easy just bolted to the sides of the block.

I just finished this a few weeks ago on the same tractor. It was not easy, took several hours of jostling it back and forth to get it out. I would recommend removing the hood, radiator, fan support and battery box, it will make things 10x easier, and those parts are very easy to remove.

If you think it is hard to get out, just wait until you try and put it back in and line up the steering. Its even more difficult. There is also a blind bearing that takes a bit of work to get loose in the pump.

If you have any questions, shoot me a message. Im new to this site, so im not sure if i have to have a certain amount of posts to reply.
