Hello everyone! New to the forum..pretty cool! I've got an 89 l2850 with loader.wont move at all until the loader is raised all the way up?? Forward or backwards any gear.as soon as the fel is raised up, it'll move..power steering comes and goes too..very wierd..the loader works perfectly.all kinds of power.I've changed the hydraulic oil and filters, not sure if the pump may be going? Any ideas?? Thanks.

That model has a 2 Hydraulic pumps and it sounds like the one section of the pump that feeds the GST and the PS is failing.

The WSM will have the Testing procedure to make sure the pump is going and not the pressure regulator.

I was wondering if it could be an o ring between the pump? Seems like it loses prime until the fel is raised and throws more oil to the other section of the pump? Does that make any sense?
