I had to replace the gear housing/case on my l275 and cannot find any procedure for adjusting the bolt identified in this diagram as #1 in the Kubota service manual for the engine. Can anyone tell me how it's supposed to be adjusted?

I don’t think you need to adjust it during assembly. It is able to be screwed in (slow) or out (fast) when assembled .

I would assume you would have it screwed as far back as possible in its holder (#2?) so you can get everything tightened up and not damage the pointed tip on the rod (#1)

Thanks, guys! Not very familiar with these engines and the service manual leaves a lot to be desired. Just wanted to make sure I was not missing something.

Ignore my previous post as it was way off. I was seeing that as the hydraulic speed adjustment screw for the hydraulic 3 point hitch system

Sorry for confusing the issue
